Monday we dropped (ok brought) six impression pieces off at ARTichokes Gallery.  So, if you'd like to see some of our newer pieces, be sure to drop by the gallery and check them out!  Also, live music and a guest artist on Friday evenings.  Wow!  Enjoy!!

Many times, we are asked "What is it?"  So we thought it would be fun to answer that question for you!  But first, what would you guess?  .....


Many have guessed a bird, specifically an eagle or a hawk.  Some have guessed a wolf.  Sorry to disappoint, but it is an inanimate object, sand!  To confirm this point, we've attached the original image captured this past fall.  

Is that cool or what?  Who would have thought you would fine this beautifully crafted pattern in the sand?  To see the final piece of art, be sure to stop by booths 126-127 at the Austin Art Show.  While the internet is convenient, it pales in comparison to seeing the art in person!

We uploaded apporx 30 new images in the Abstract gallery.  They are the last images at this time.  Prior to the show, we'll re-arrange the gallery which will make them harder to identify the new from the old pieces.  Enjoy!!

We're continuing to work on pieces.  And many have been framed!  I should have pics uploaded in a day or two, so check back to see them.  We're very excited!

We still don't have our booth numbers, but we are working very hard to bring a lot of new abstract pieces to the show.  Yikes, it's just 4 weeks from tomorrow!  It's going to be a very busy weekend!

This past weekend, we finished mounting 64 new pieces.  Granted, most of them are 10X10's and 12X12's.  But there are a few larger pieces as well.  So, we're making progress toward the Austin art show! 

Well, I finally got to do it!  What you ask?  Print BIG I say.  Last night we finished printing 26 linear feet of 44" wide canvas.  It's all abstracts and it's BIG (did I mention that?).  Here's the list:

We've got seven weeks to paint, varnish, mount and frame.  Can we get it all done?  Good question!
